What does Sable mean?

Did you know Sable means “rich in black color” and “hints of luxury”? When naming my store I wanted to first represent the letter “S” after my four daughters that names all begin with an S. When I came across Sable, I loved the strong feminine ring to it and that it meant rich in black color. This was a perfect representation to what Sable is, and how we could truely brand ourselves. Black is the only color that is timeless and ageless and looks good on every body shape. It’s important for me when purchasing for future seasons that I always choose black items that represent the future Sable girl. My main focus for women was to quickly understand what Sable is all about and what they can expect while shopping.
